Give Me Some Sugar!

I was busy cleaning the apartment a while back, bustling back and forth between dusting and laundry, bed-making and dishes. Claire was playing quietly and contentedly on the living room floor. As I pulled laundry from the dryer, I heard an unmistakable "mmmm" coming from the living room. The sound is so recognizable because we hear it on a daily basis; when Claire eats something she is enjoying, she sure lets us know.

But confidant that there was absolutely no food in the living room, I dismissed it for a while. Yet the sound persisted, and after a few moments, I heard the crinkle of a plastic bag. Now my interest was piqued, and I rushed over, not sure what to expect. Well, Claire's dear father had had a snack the night before, and left the bag on the floor, which of course Claire discovered. No wonder I was hearing an almost constant "mmm"...she was up to her elbows in a bag of Peanut Butter M&M's.

Apparently it was too good not to share!

I was confronted with some severe disappointment when I took the bag away.

Look at those lashes!

That is so sweet she wanted to share!
I can't believe how big she is getting. She is so darling.

That is really funny, and really cute! Wish we lived in your ward still so Baron and Claire could be buddies!

She didn't want to share...oh, no she didn't! That's the classic,"If I give you some, it will APPEAR that I want to share though I really just know I got caught doing something naughty, thus changing your mind about the consequential punishments you are considering because I just tricked you into thinking I was cute and kind by sharing" trick. Works every time...almost.

And you're now confident she is not allergic to peanuts.
I love her.
I also love that you took pictures of her before taking the bag away. Cuz then she could eat more.
Love it.

Ok, Adam...you are to blame for setting your child on a chocolate addiction that will last a lifetime!

I think that kids have a great sense of smell since they seem to find the treats where ever they may be. I am also impressed that she doesn't have more on her face. My kids seem to get it all over. Nice clean Claire. She is so cute.

She is so cute! And she is just like her auntie...cries when the chocolate gets taken away. She is my girl!

Who can resist M&M's-she's just like all of us. I love the way she crosses her legs.

Harper Turns 3!

We sure love this little girl, and we were excited to wish her a happy birthday.  But, of course, this little sassafrass decided to have so...
