Spring ahead

Not too long ago I was trying to organize some stuff in Claire's closet. I put Claire on the floor, surrounded by toys, and got to work. I look up a minute later, and Claire had rolled out of view--she directed herself into her doorway and found the doorstop. She was flicking it and thoroughly enjoying the boinging sound the spring made.

Amused that she was so amused, I snapped some photos and went back to my project, leaving her to continue testing out the spring's noise capabilities. Engaged in my task, it took a little while for me to realize that it had become quiet. Too quiet. From where I was sitting, Claire's dresser blocked my full view of the doorway, so I crawled over to peek around the dresser. This is what I spied:

Never ever had I thought that she would want to go beyond the boinging of the spring. I know babies like to put everything in their mouth, but it never occurred to me that that would include things screwed into the wall. Lesson learned!

Did the cap come off in her mouth? Mischievous little girl. You dress her so cutely.

Crew use to always pull the cap off of those things and chew on them. I would totally gross me out.
We're excited to spend the weekend with you guys.

We had a similar post after we got Maylin. She took every white cap off. Today, we still do not have most of our caps. Why? It was a bother putting them on and on and on and on , again and again. She is so cute. No wonder Maylin and Claire like each other....the think a like.
