Born vegetarian?

Claire has gobbled up everything we've ever fed her. That is, until we tried meat for the first time. She handles the jarred "meals" just fine (like the chicken and rice or beef and vegetables, for example), but I thought I would get her some jars of plain chicken--just ground chicken mixed with a little broth to make it smooth. I tried it (as I have done with everything I've fed her), and yes, it was a little grainy, but it tasted...well...like chicken. It wasn't quite what Claire expected, I guess.

She kept that spoonful of food in her mouth for a good 5 minutes without swallowing it. I took that as a pretty clear-cut loss. Then Adam came home from work and thought he would give it the ol' college try.

I know the feeling...Rori won't eat meat. She started off eating it...even loved it. She won't eat it anymore.....which makes it less productive since she is anemic.

Beth, don't you mean you know the feeling because you make the same face when you are asked to eat beans?

She is so wonderfully polite and sweet about hating her food that you have to feel sorry for her. Heck, don't make her eat it!
