Blessed are the Piecemakers

You know how when it's cold out, you just feel like wrapping yourself in a warm quilt and curling up in a cushy chair with a cup of cocoa and a good book? Lucky for her, Claire will have 4 quilts to choose from. Each one is unique and beautiful and was made with love, and I feel so lucky to have such talented family and friends who would take the time to make such beautiful gifts for my little girl!

This quilt was made by Grandma Glenda for her first granddaughter:

This quilt was made by my dear friend, Sara. I can't stop touching the back side of it--the fabric is so incredibly soft!

This quilt was made by my sister, Beth, who did such a great job and was so incredibly patient with me when we went to pick out the fabric together so I would have the exact colors that I wanted. I love you Beth!

And last, but certainly not least, this darling quilt was made by Julia. I love the bird detail, but I also love that she embroidered Claire's name on the back!

Thank you so much for the beautiful quilts! We love them all!

I've had the chance to see the one Beth made in person. That is truly and amazing quilt. You have a talented sister. Well, you have a couple of talented sisters.

Cute blog...very clever!
How lucky to have so many. The nice things about quilts is that they get passed on to the younger children, or in the case of Dev's baby quilt, to his own son.
