Bonding

Our little Claire has been with us for a week. But we've already bonded pretty well. I have a sneaking suspicion that there might have been at least voice recognition in the womb.

Claudia and Claire are on the same sleep schedule now:

Whereas I've been hanging out with her. She was showing me her new tricks like how to cross your eyes and make silly faces:

I showed her how to cheer when your team scores a touchdown:

But it also became necessary to show her how to be fan even when the team you like isn't even close to being as good as the hype:

I told her about Christmas. How people travelled a long ways just to see a baby.

She had to play the angel:

All in all we are having a good time:

AAACcckk! That picture (the last one) is my all time favorite baby photo. That is fantastic. She is so cute. You are also the only person I know who is tall enough to actual hold your baby high enough to be the angel on the tree.

So cute! I love the way you see the world and then write about it. Can't wait to give her a kiss!

She is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing her beginnings with us, we are so anxious to bond with her, too. I can not believe the cute pictures you are getting of this week old child. It is amazing.

There is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby. Okay maybe.....a baby in top of a tree is pretty good. Adam it is great you are teaching Claire how to cheer. Anytime Mikey sees football he yells "GO PACK GO!" It is in his veins now. Claire needs to know who she is and where her father came from.

I am tearing up I am not sure why. It is late and your baby is adorable and there is something so tender about sleeping next to a baby. Oh I want to shrink my baby. I am glad that Claudia is getting some rest. It is best to rest when she (baby) does. Even when they are two. I can't wait to meet her. I love you baby Claire.

This little darling looks so tiny in her daddy's arms!. I'm still amazed that she can smile at such a young age. They used to tell me
(100 yrs. ago) that babies don't smile until they are nearly 6 wks.
old!Hope you have had a Merry Christmas!

Beautiful. Amazing. Wonderful. Congratulations! She is such a sweet tiny little bundle and I think I just got baby hungry. Adam, you're still hilarious; Claudia, you're still incredibly beautiful. Yeah for the joys of parenthood for the both of you! Good luck.

We sure love this little girl, and we were excited to wish her a happy birthday.  But, of course, this little sassafrass decided to have so...
