It's fun to mess with people...

One day when I was in Cedar, I spent the day at work with Erin (she teaches freshman English at one of the high schools). She put me to work organizing some of her notes into a PowerPoint presentation for a future unit. I'm a nerd, I know, but I actually like doing that stuff. Anyway, walking into school with her made both of us feel like a freak show. Most of her students know that she has a twin, and have even seen pictures, but to have us both there in person was a different matter. You'd think these teenagers had never seen twins before. After one of her classes started, I realized I was being kicked in the bladder by baby and needed a break. I walked out into the hall and past a few classrooms towards the restroom when I heard the astounded voice of a teenage boy (who obviously hadn't seen the two of us together that day--and me with my obviously pregnant belly) exclaim "What happened to Ms. Hensel??" Sometimes being a twin is so fun!

And as I am reading this, a former student has just walked in and guess what he said..."So, I heard you were pregnant." Why didn't we start doing cool twin stuff sooner?

You guys are so cute. We have two sets of twins on our soccer team. Or rather, Cooper has two sets of twins on his soccer team. I'm so worried that if they go on vacation we'll be missing more than half our team.

I know you already told me that story, but I still laughed when I read it. Ha ha!
I had so much fun with you and Adam. I am still sad that we only got to spend one evening together. It was like having a taste but I am still hungry! Okay, that was a weird metaphor, but you get the picture.
Chris said it was fun to get to know Adam a little bit. You are sure a beautiful pregnant woman. Thanks again for dinner, you shouldn't have treated us, but it was very nice! We loved the German food.
Love you!!!
