Adoring fan

As mentioned in the previous post, I had so much fun with my family. One of the funniest things was to see little Mikey's reaction to there being TWO of us. He is really close to Erin, but I think that made it easier for him to transition to liking and trusting me, too. He certainly couldn't doubt that I, too, was an adoring fan. He got pretty good at telling us apart by the end of the week--or at least he figured out that if I didn't respond to "Erin" that I must be Claudia. Sometimes, he would just shout out "ClaudiaErin" to cover his bases. Beth tried to explain to him that "Claudia is the one with the baby", after which he would stroke my belly and give it a kiss. Is there any wonder why I love my nephew so much? He also loves his sister, Rori. I came over one afternoon to find him playing in the sprinkler on the front lawn. Then he stopped for a break and gave Rori a kiss. Man, these kids are cute!

Oh, how I love to hike. Luckily, I got to hike a few times on this trip. Dad and I took a fun (though HOT) hike in Kolob Canyon (part of Zion Nat'l Park). There were great views, beautiful wildflowers, overhangs to catch some shade, and opportunities for Dad to play with his GPS system:

We also checked out the Mountain Meadows Massacre site, which was about 40 miles outside of Cedar:

We did some fun things, but mostly it was just great to spend time with each other. I am so blessed to have a family that loves each other and enjoys spending time together! I can't wait to see everyone again!

Cute Claudia! I do want some of the pictures you took. Like I said where was my camera? I know I had it out but why didn't I use it more. We were so happy that you came out. I can't wait to see you again.

I am getting excited for your little one! (PS: Adam even admitted that Rori was so cute, so this means he is really happy about the baby being a GIRL!)

This year for Halloween we decided to go as Mario Kart!  We were all so excited to put our costumes together.  Henry, of course, wanted to ...
